Class 5 pupils in 1974. It contains all their drawings of how the old
school was demolished to make way for the building of the new school.

Once upon a time there was a school called
Middle Street. |

It was in Brighton. |

Brighton is at the seaside. |

There are lots of shops |

and boats |

and a theatre. |

There is a Pavilion where kings and queens
used to live. |

Middle Street school was built a long time ago. |

It is getting old now so it has to be pulled down. |

But another school is going to be built in the
same place. |

At the end of the year workmen came to pull down the
first part of the school. |

They took off the slates. |

A big yellow machine pulled down the roof.
